Hello from Emma's Flower Truck! This is Amelia here. I thought it would be fun to start recapping our events and Valentine's seems like the best place to start since it was a HUGE week for us! (and by us I mean ME haha and my amazing family who support me and keep this business running smoothly)
Valentine's week was SO much fun and so busy. The week alternated between picking up flowers, prepping flowers, taking flowers to events, getting more flowers, prepping them, making bouquets & arrangements that were pre-ordered, delivering everything, and then 2 more days of the flower truck. It was a whirlwind and so much fun!
Our Valentine's week actually started on Sunday with a super exciting Galentine's event with the flower truck right off the Marietta Square. The event was to celebrate the clients of Teri Ehrlich Homes - everyone who came got to build their own bouquets on the truck and take them home to enjoy!
I started Monday off by picking up the first order of flowers for a big event the next day. I spent the rest of the day prepping flowers, organizing bouquet supplies and getting everything loaded for the morning.
On Tuesday I took the flowers to do a custom Bloom Bar for CBRE where 100 guests came up to build their own bouquets. It was such a fun event!
Wednesday was my BIG flower pickup for everything I would need for Valentine's! I came home with 16 HUGE BOXES of flowers at 12pm and I finished getting everything into buckets at 5-6pm. Then I started making all of the bouquets, arrangements and putting carnations into sleeves for their deliveries.
On Thursday I got all of the pre-made deliveries to my husbands work, to our local gyms CrossFit 11:24 and CrossFit Bound, a big carnation delivery for BodyBar Pilates, and then I prepped more flowers for the evening Bloom Bar Galentine's Event for Rhodes Law at the fabulous FireWorks Coworking space in Marietta. Everyone made beautiful big bouquets to take home and enjoy!
Friday was finally Valentine's! In the morning I loaded up the truck and took it to Basecamp in Kennesaw from 9-1pm. It was such a great start to Valentine's and we sold lots of custom bouquets, pre-made bouquets, arrangements and chocolate greeting cards! Then I took the truck home for an hour to restock the buckets and make some neighborhood deliveries. Then I hopped back in the truck to go to the Marietta Square Market from 4-7pm. It was a great evening helping everyone create their own bouquets!
I always love taking the flower truck around town! I can't thank our community and the amazing people in it enough. Thanks for loving us, the truck and flowers! Valentine's week was amazing and we're so happy you chose us to make someones day extra special with flowers!
